it warms my heart to photograph my childhood friends babies.  I love seeing them as moms during this new chapter of their lives!

when I look at this gorgeous boy...the two words that come to mind are:  beautiful and creamy.  yes, creamy.  he's just creamy and delicious :-)

Hello all!  I wanted to let you know I've closed my books for 2009.  I'm currently booking for 2010!

Hi all!  I wanted to let you all know, in the midst of my busiest time of year, I'm taking a week off :)  I will be out of the office Sunday, October 25 - Thursday October 29th, returning to my desk on Friday the 30th.

oooh I have a new favorite product.  it's Mr.Big.  A 24x36" ginormous canvas collage to display and share your entire session!  the images and frames are actually printed onto the canvas to give the look of a cork board!
this is so cool, I may just hang it on my own wall....and this isn't even my family :)

so long to summer, part II

on this day, my 10 yr old declared it as "bring your daughter to work day".  Not something I would typically do....but after a little thought I decided maybe it would be fun.  A little road trip for the two of us and she could see Mom at work.  We played 20 questions on the way down to LBI.  I learned that avocados were a fruit (who knew?)  She discovered that if you do a cartwheel behind mom taking pictures, the kids will laugh!  She met a really cool grandpa who was willing to race her down the beach!  She was paid in fudge that night for all her fancy tricks and acrobatics!  Now that's my kind of currency! Goodbye summer of 2009!

I admit....I'm rushing this autumn thing a little bit over here.  I've had my spicey scented candles burning, my fall wreath on the door for at least a week, and I'm fully in my Lucky jeans...but I have a few more summer posts that I need to share before we get all pumpkiny....
